Herb Ventures invests in Hottey
Andreas W. Herb is backing Hottey, the hot honey brand from Dresden. The investment came out of the VOX founder show “Die Höhle der Löwen”.
Paderborn, 12 October 2026 — Herb Ventures, the private investment company of entrepreneur Andreas W. Herb, is investing in Hottey. The deal with the Dresden-based brand came out of the VOX founder show “Die Höhle der Löwen” and is public as of today.
Hottey is Germany’s first hot honey brand: a spicy honey-chilli sauce made from natural ingredients. It combines the sweetness of honey with the heat of chilli and brings a flavour to Germany that has long been a category of its own in the United States.
Herb Ventures invests its own capital and entrepreneurial time. The company contributes experience in brand building, distribution and scaling, and will support Hottey as the brand grows.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the investment.
